Jill, this is a great post. I read an article in the Raleigh NC News and Observer recently about how Gen X fathers are much more involved with their children than Boomer dads were. It mentioned that moms getting comfortable with the dads's style of interaction was definitely an issue. So good topic to bring up!

Thanks for the feedback Adele! I think it is fantastic that dads are so much more involved with their children. For some moms it is hard because the dads are often seen as the free spirited, fun and playful ones while they are seen as task masters and the disciplinarian. It is important for couples to talk about this and to find the right balance for their family. I'll talk much more about this in future posts. Thanks again!
