Attention all parents! I must tell you about an absolutely fantastic new website: minti. What is minti you ask? Minti is a relatively new website where parents can go for "advice, friendship and community." The site is free to join (who says you can't get anything for free any more!). I have done so and have my own site (thementormom.minti.com).
Besides being free, you can create your own family page, keep a blog and make friends with other members. It truly is a community. I REALLY wish I had something like this after Thing One was born! The free blog feature is a great way to keep family and friends up to date on events happening in your family.
My favorite feature is the ability to seek or give advice. Moms and dads can go in and post their burning parenting questions and get advice from other parents. How great is that? You can also go in and read other parents requests for info and give them your suggestions.
So, go to www.minti.com and sign up! Look me up when you get there (The Mentor Mom) and add me to your friends list. Hope to see you there!
